Pine top

On our way up to Pine top, we stop in at Ponderosa campgrounds to feed Landen. Chad and I use to camp allot at Ponderosa. Landen enjoys the outdoors, so this feeding was interesting to him. He was looking all around.

Landen fell asleep after a nice walk in the jogger.

It was a little chilly in the mornings. We were up early to see Pop pop set off on his bike race.

Aunt Tracy and Uncle Eric came to visit me today. They couldn't believe how big I have gotten. It was great having them over.

Doctor visit

1st Doctor Visit

This is Landen's Doctor, Dr. McKenna. She is very sweet. She came to see Landen in the hospital every morning. Well, his first doctor visit didn't go as well as we hoped. Landen had lost a pound. Dr. McKenna was concerned about his weight. She was hoping that we would have it back up to his birth weight in a couple of days. We came back for a second visit 4 days later, hoping he had gained some weight. He didnt gain enough, so we had to come back in a week. The worst part is, Landen was sleeping through the night since he came home from the hospital. We weren't allowed to do that anymore till his weight was back up. He had to eat every two hours, meaning I had to wake him up for feedings at night, what a struggle! Lucky a week later he had gained a pound and Dr. McKenna was happy with his weight.

Landen's Arrival

Landen is finally here, seems like we've been waiting forever. He was born at 4:37 in the morning at Chandler Regional Hospital. He weighed 8lb 6oz and 20 inches long. I had to have an emergency C-section. The doctor said that he was ready to come out. Since he was starring right at her when they cut me open. Scary thought, uhh! Chad and I are very excited to be parents.
