Alyssa walking

Alyssa is walking all over the place with her walker! She is 10 months old. She is very excited about it, too. In this video she didn't want much to do with looking at mom, she was more worried about how she was going to go get the kids toys.

what's happenin' in preschool?

Well mom started up a daycare/preschool in our home. We currently have two kiddos plus me and Alyssa. They are both 2 years old. We do preschool in the morning, then lunch and then a body rest and they we play till the parents come get them. I enjoy it. Having my friends here everyday is cool. I have learned and still learning alot of new things: One major thing is sharing.


Here we are doing circle time. ALyssa loves clapping along to the songs. I love circle time, we go over our colors, letters, names and sing lots of songs!

Then after circle time we have an activity at the table. Today it was painting. We made "slippery fish books" for the week. Each day we added to our book. I love finger painting.

Then we do puzzles while mom gets lunch ready. I cant do some of these puzzles with my eyes closed,I am really good!!!

Here is one of my friends, Ava. She is really cool. We like to pretend we are in a marching band and march around the house with our drums!!

ON Friday's it is a special day, we get to help cook something. Today we made fish cookies to go with our slippery fish theme. We got to put things in the batter and mix it. After they baked we got to decorate them with candy.


Of course we had to try one too.!!!

Alyssa said they were ok to eat since she eat the whole cookie!!!


Alyssa likes showing off all that she can do. Like getting in the fish rocker all by herself!

Alyssa will pull herself up onto anything.

We all enjoy having the kids over. Mom loves teaching us new things.

Aunt Tracy

Aunt Tracy came to visit us today and brought us back these really cool shirts! I have mine on but you can't see it. I love it when she comes over!


Wow, and she was really lucky to. Alyssa let her hold her, normally Alyssa only lets mom or dad hold her. Uncle Eric, grandma and grandpa came over to but we didn't get a pciture with them. We were all so busy playing!

Mommy's Princess

For most of you that know, Alyssa is mommy's little princess and I am her prince "Charming" that is! Alyssa loves looking at books!

And anything that is mine, she wants too. Like my rocking chair that I sitting in as I read my books. Mommy says I have to share everything I have. That is so much work, but I am learning and working on it. I think that Alyssa needs to work on it too but mom says..."She's just a baby!"

She is cute, though. So anyways she has six teeth in, which she wont show you! She is starting to walk and wants to do everything I am doing. Oh yeah, she thinks she is in charge of the preschool, too!!! I still love her!

OH, Ms. Alyssa... she is so excited to be standing up on her own. She is getting ready to walk. She walks around with her walker but she is not yet fast enough to catch me! She can crawl pretty fast though.

Happy 4th of July

Happy 4th of July! Alyssa is mommy's little firecracker!

Just hanging out!

Wow it sure has been a hot summer! Here we are just hanging out in our playhouse. Alyssa now loves being in here. She stands up and holds on as she walks around. She is moving right along!

Pop pop and I are hanging out on the couch. Mom and dad went out for a movie so Nana and Pop pop came over to watch us. We had a blast.

Meeting Baby Russ

Here is Baby Russ... isn't he so preicous?? And Of course look at all that hair. He has more hair than I do. It is so soft and silky. He is a good baby! Oh yeah you know my friend Lillie... this is her brother.

Lauren came to visit us!

This is mommy's cousin Lauren. She is going to college in the fall in California. We are all so proud of her. So she came out to visit us before her big journey! Party time...oh I mean...College time!!

Lauren came with me to my art class and helped me out with our project. We had to make an L and put beans on the glue. MESSY!!

Here is my finished project! I have to put it high the one frigde or Alyssa will try and eat the beans.

Spending time with my cousins

We went to Walmart to get a few things, so my cousin Matt that I look up to sat in the cart with me. Otherwise I wanted to get out and run with him.


Emma was being a big helper and helping mom feed Alyssa. she was doing a great job too. MOm wanted to bring her home with her.

Mommy and Emma sitting on the couch watching TV, while daddy was over there doing some dry wall work. Mommy loves Emma!

Alyssa's 9 month check up

Well Alyssa had her 9 month check up today. She is doing well but the doctor said that she is under weight!!! Mom said that she didn't get that trouble from mommy! So we have to go back in two weeks to see if she gains any more weight. Mommy has to try and fatten her up.... Here are her stats:
Weight: 16lbs 10% tile
Height:28inches 50% tile
Head Circ. 17 inches 25%tile
Mommy was telling me that she had the same struggles with me gaining weight but look at me now I am right on target so Alyssa will catch up. That doctors just seems to stress on it more. But Alyssa is doing well she is chassing me everywhere and wants to do everything I am doing. So I am trying to teach her some new things.

Pudding time!

Today mom and I made some pudding while Alyssa was sleeping! I had to be very careful with the blender we didn't want it to get everywhere. But you know that would be very FUNNY!!!


Mom showed me that we can lick the beaters.. but I like the

SPOON!!!! much better, it holds alot more!!!

And is alot more messy!!! Oh NO... we're suppose to save some for daddy..

WHats happenin'

For most of you that know.... Alyssa is becoming very mobile!!! She crawls like no day tomorrow... She is putting herself up on everything she can reach. she is walking around the couch holding on. But she really want to get up on the couch with me as I watch my morning cartoons...

But it is not going to happen right now. She gets so mad that I cant hear my cartoons anymore. So I wish she could hurry up and get up here. Mom yells at me when I try to help her so I don't know what to do. Alyssa she has the "fat lip" syndrome when she is upset.

I have to say though I am a big helper. Mom had to do something for a second and when she got back I was feeding Alyssa so she wouldn't cry. I like feeding Alyssa I just have to ask mom.

Here I am over my Aunt Keri's house. She has two doggies. I love feeding them through their cage, it is funny. It drives mom nuts cuz i get more food on the floor then in their mouths.
