Alyssa no more bottles!!!

Well mom and dad have really given in on Alyssa. I was off the bottle at 10 months and now Alyssa is a year old and she is finally off the bottle. No more bottles, she transitioned with no problem right to a big girl cup! The bottles are in the garbage now!!! Yeah!

Three little Duckies

Ava, Tanner, and Landen. We made duckie mask today. We were running around pretending we were ducks so mom thought it would be neat to make masks. It was fun, we painted the plates, then glued feathers and a beak on. Now we were set, we ran around all afternoon yelling "Quack, quack!!!

Camping in the rain

We went camping this weekend. We had a blast, getting dirty!!! It poured Saturday afternoon, though. We all took a nap while we listened to the thunder and lighting. We also watched and listened to the rain come pouring down. After all that we had to pack up and come home. It was so wet outside and got very cold, like in the low 30's.


But these were the good times, I was talking about. I was helping dad set up the tent.

Alyssa was hanging out in the tent, while we where setting up everything. She was really telling us where to put it all, as she yelled out.

After all my hard work was done, I had to show off my muscles!

This is the best camping toy ever! Mrs. Julie bought this for me a while back. It is a rocket and it flies great in the camp sites!!!

We are not sure why Alyssa likes climbing in the toybox? She always gets in there and then screams, because she gets stuck! I think she does it for the attention! You think?

Alyssa's one year check up

Well there I am snoozing on the table but my sister had to have her one year check-up. She did great! She weighs 18.1 lbs (15 % tile), so that means she can't turn her car seat around yet. Her height is 29 inches (45% tile). She also has a tiny head, 17.5 inches (25% tile). She is walking all over the place and doing very well keeping up with me. I can't take a toy and run anymore, because she is coming right after me now! She had to have four shots for her yearly, and then mommy made us get our flu shots so that added one more for Alyssa. Then I got one too!!! I wasnt to happy about that but I had to be the big brother and show Alyssa that is was ok! (YEAH RIGHT!) So it was all good news and we dont have to go back until ALyssa is 15 months unless something goes wrong!

The fun we have playing all day! There is so much to pretend, and the kids are so good at it. They make me laugh. Even Alyssa is great at pretending!

We all had lunch, I sat with my best friend Lillie. I wish we got together more often. Now I can say her name and when mom mentions her. I talk about her all the time.

Time to open presents... wow!!! Everyone wanted to open presents. It was like the morning of christmas, paper everywhere.

Mail for Alyssa

Today after lunch the mailman knocked at the door, he had two packages for Alyssa. One from the Rivera's and the other from the Robbins. That was so cool.
Since these were her first birthday presents to open I thought I would help her out.

Alyssa was amazed what was in the packages. Mom couldn't even get her to look at the camera for a picture. She loves the book and the clothes are going to look adorable on her. Thank you guys, we wish you were here!

First, this is Alyssa's friend Sienna. She comes over three days a week. We love playing with her. Alyssa and her are a week apart.


Here she comes. Yes, she is walking now. She started walking a week before her birthday.

She likes to roar like a lion sometimes when she walks.

Right now it is all about me and my guitar! I love anything with guitars. I play the guitar in the car as we listen to the music. I play it as I watch morning cartoons.
